Oven Refresh – Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all services provided by Oven Refresh (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you, the customer (“you”, “your”). By booking a service with us, you confirm your agreement to these terms. Please read them carefully before your scheduled appointment.
1. Booking and Confirmation
- Bookings are confirmed once you receive confirmation via email, phone, text, social media, or website.
- Appointment times are approximate and may vary — we may arrive earlier or later due to the day's schedule.
- Delays may occur due to traffic, weather, or extended jobs. We will notify you where possible.
- We may cancel or reschedule due to illness, vehicle breakdown, or other unforeseen issues.
2. Access Requirements
- Safe, secure on-site parking immediately outside the property is required for safety, security, and our insurance.
- We require hot running water and an electrical power supply.
- The kitchen must be tidy and appliances accessible.
- Remove all non-genuine trays, dishes, or accessories from ovens/hobs before arrival.
- Built-in or blocked appliances still incur the full call-out fee.
3. Cancellations & Missed Appointments
- More than 48 hours’ notice: No charge
- 24–48 hours: 50% of service cost
- Less than 24 hours or missed appointment: 100% of service cost
- Plus: A mileage charge of 50p per mile from previous and to next job may apply if missed.
4. Our Service and Results
- We use eco-friendly, non-caustic cleaning solutions.
- Results depend on appliance condition and maintenance history.
- Heavily soiled or older ovens may not return to “like new.”
- If the job takes significantly longer due to condition, a flat 50% surcharge applies.
- We do not dismantle sealed parts or guarantee removal of deep carbon deposits.
5. Liability and Safety
- We are fully insured for accidental damage caused during cleaning.
- We are not liable for:
- Pre-existing wear, damage, or corrosion
- Fragile components (seals, bulbs, knobs)
- Safety of gas/electrical systems
- If we feel an appliance is unsafe, we may refuse service and recommend a qualified engineer.
6. Payment Terms
- Payment is due immediately after service completion.
- We accept cash, debit/credit card, PayPal (including Pay in 3), and BACS/bank transfer.
- Late payments incur £10 fee + 8% monthly interest.
- Non-payment may result in refusal of future bookings.
7. Return Visits & Satisfaction
- Contact us within 24 hours of your clean if you're unhappy.
- We offer one free return visit within 5 working days if the issue relates to our service.
- Reuse or unrelated issues may void return visit.
8. Promotions & Vouchers
- One offer per booking.
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable.
- Offers may exclude out-of-area jobs or surcharged appointments.
9. Out-of-Area Fees
- Travel outside our normal service area may incur a pre-agreed call-out fee.
10. Minimum Call-Out
- A minimum charge equal to a single oven clean applies to all bookings.
11. Missed or Denied Access
- If we are unable to access the property or begin work, full payment is still due.
12. Privacy
- We store your information securely for service communication only.
- We do not share or sell your data.
13. Photography & Social Media
- We may take before/after photos for records or marketing.
- No identifying details are shared. Let us know in advance if you do not consent.
- For giveaways: tag us @ovenrefresh and use #ovenrefresh for a chance to win 10% off.
14. Children & Pets
- Children must be kept away from the work area at all times.
- Please secure pets away from the oven area during the clean.
15. Disposal
- We do not remove waste or appliance parts from your property.
16. Reviews & Communication
- We appreciate feedback!
- Please allow us the opportunity to resolve any issues before leaving negative public reviews.
- We reserve the right to take action against false or defamatory claims.
17. Warranty Disclaimer
- Our service does not affect or extend manufacturer warranties.
- You should confirm with your appliance manufacturer before booking.
18. Maintenance Requests
- If you ask us to replace bulbs, trays, seals, etc., it is done at your own risk.
- We are not responsible for failures or issues caused by worn or customer-supplied parts.
19. Pricing Validity
- All quotes are valid for 30 days.
- Prices may vary for unusually large or commercial appliances.
20. Working From Home Clients
- Please note the oven cleaning process can include temporary noise due to disassembly, cleaning tools, or ventilation.
- If you work from home or require a quiet space (e.g., for meetings or calls), please plan accordingly during your appointment.
